Bunkhouse Residency
Artists in Place: The Bunkhouse Project is an artist-in-residence program sponsored by the City of Saskatoon and Saskatoon Forestry Farm Park and Zoo. From April to September 2023, myself and five other artists were in residence at the historic Bunkhouse building located within the Forestry Farm Park grounds.
Studio Projects
My focus during my residency began with native Saskatchewan birds and plants, which quickly became mostly birds and some landscapes. I mostly worked in oils and gouache, though I did do some prep work in graphite as well.
